About Cabinas Marielos
Cabinas Marielos is a small, family-run guesthouse across the street from Tamarindo Beach in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Meet Marielos
The guesthouse is owned and operated by Maria de los Angeles Molina Gonzalez, known to guests as "Marielos," a native Tica (Costa Rican) and retired university professor. Marielos has learned from her travels throughout the world that the natural beauty and environment of Costa Rica are a treasure to guard and preserve, and she carries that philosophy into how she runs her cabinas.
The Grounds
The grounds at Cabinas Marielos are a masterpiece of Costa Rican gardening, with brilliant flowers, draping palms, and vibrant native trees, all just steps from Tamarindo Bay.
What Are Cabinas?
Cabinas are Costa Rica's version of the American motel: usually small, family-operated businesses with anywhere from two to fifty clean, basic rooms. That family-run character is at the heart of how Cabinas Marielos welcomes its guests.
